Melómano – My Spanish Word of the Day 6/30/2015

My Spanish word of the day is melómano – music lover.  I discovered this word in an article that I read at the Huffington Post in the Spanish Culture section.  The article is about movies that are being released this weekend – Comedias, catástrofes y espías: los estreños más ‘petardos’ llegan al cine.  The comedy that the article refers to is actually a French film.  The title in Spanish is No Molestar.  In the film, Christian Clavier portrays a music lover who buys a rare jazz album in a flea market.  All he wants to do is to go home and listen to it in peace.  But noise and continuous disasters prevent him from doing so.

Vocabulary In Context
