Un Bumerán – My Spanish Word Of The Day 1/4/2016

Un bumerán is a boomerang.

¡Hola Spanish Language Lovers!

Here is a joke from Señor Jordan.  ¿Cómo se llama un bumerán que no vuelve?  ¡Un palo!  (What do you call a boomerang that doesn’t return?  A stick.)

Señor Jordan has a Youtube playlist called Practice Your Spanish With Jokes.  You can learn vocabulary and bits of grammar from his 68 videos with jokes.  He also has a website/blog with many serious videos about grammar topics.  www.senorjordan.com

I just can’t resist a silly joke, so here is another one from Señor Jordan.

Qué le dice una uva verde a una morada?  ¡Respira!  (What does a green grape say to a purple grape?  Breathe!)

In this video, Senor Jordan explains a little bit about the use of le with the verb decir, how nouns and adjectives must agree in gender, and how to use the tú form of a command.

Well, I hope you enjoyed these silly jokes and learned a little Spanish too.

¡Hasta Pronto!
